Intelligent and Supervisory Control
Home
Ørsted DTU, Automation includes a research group in the field of Intelligent and Supervisory Control. These pages are intended to give an overview of the topics which the group is involved in.
The research area of the group is a combination of the three areas of
Control Systems, Computer Science and Cognitive Science.
Research Objectives
The research objectives of the group are to develop concepts, methods and
tools for analysis and synthesis of:
Research Topics
These objectives are met through research in the following topics:
- Diagnosis
- Planning
- Design of large scale industrial control systems
- Human-Machine Systems
A common foundation is the application of levels of abstraction in the modelling of
complex systems. This modelling is centred around means-ends part-whole concepts, and is
instantiated in Multilevel Flow Modelling, MFM. This comprises the fifth research topic:
- Means-ends part-whole modelling
